              Hi!  My name is Kelly Kraemer and I am the owner and stylist of Happy Tails Mobile Pet Salon.  I have always been a lover of all animals but dogs are my favorite.  As a young girl I always had at least one dog so I don't know what its like to be without one. 

             I started showing dogs in obedience/handling at nine years old in 4-H and continued doing so for 10 years.  I have also shown some breed shows and continue to obedience train my own dogs below.  Kira, the German Shepherd, has extensive training and titles with the American Kennel Club.  Brian, the Beagle, is just a pup but has already had some wins in obedience. 

            I started grooming as a child and no one groomed my show dogs for me so I did it myself.  Of course, my grooming skills have been perfected over the years as I attended grooming school and finished at the top of my class.  Recently, I went the extra mile and certified with the National Dog Groomers Association of America, which is a series of strenuous testing in front of a panel of certifiers who judge you according to a strict standard of excellence.   I have also competed in grooming competions which is really fun for me and I have a few wins to show for it!  

            I started Happy Tails in September of 2005 and it has been growing steadily since then.  I love working with the dogs and their parents and I couldn't see myself doing anything else.  I look forward to serving my clients in the future.
